Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
This policy applies to all paid WorkRight subscriptions, operated by Kaptanz Space Private Limited. By subscribing you agree to these terms. We aim to be fair to customers while protecting the integrity of HR and compliance data already entered into the Platform.
2. Trial
New workspaces start on a trial with no payment collected, so no refund applies to the trial period. You can stop using the trial at any time.
3. Full refund window
You are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of your first paid subscription, provided that no compliance artifacts with legal value have been issued in that period — specifically no training certificates issued, no POSH complaints filed, and no statutory policies or annual reports generated. These conditions exist because such artifacts cannot be retroactively unissued.
4. Pro-rated refund window
Between day 8 and day 30 of your subscription, you may request a pro-rated refund for the unused portion, calculated as:
The 15% administrative fee covers payment gateway charges, account setup and processing.
5. No refund after 30 days
Beyond 30 days from the start of a subscription, refunds are not available. You may cancel at any time to prevent future renewal (see Section 7); the current paid period remains available until expiry.
6. Service outages
If WorkRight experiences a continuous, verifiably WorkRight-caused outage exceeding 72 hours (excluding scheduled maintenance and force majeure), you may request a service credit equal to the proportional value of the affected days, applied to your next billing cycle or refunded if unresolved within 14 days.
7. Cancellation
You can cancel from the Billing page in your dashboard (Settings & Billing). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep full access until then. Cancellation by itself does not trigger a refund; refund eligibility is governed by Sections 3–5.
8. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from your registered account email, including your company name, the Razorpay payment ID (visible on your Billing page) and the reason. We respond within 2 business days with a decision and, if approved, the refund timeline.
9. Refund processing time
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method via Razorpay. Bank processing may add 2–5 working days. Refunds cannot be processed to a different payment method or account than the original.
10. Disputes & chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks raised without first contacting support may result in account suspension and dispute resolution through Razorpay's standard process.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are notified to active subscribers via email at least 30 days before they take effect. The version in effect on your payment date applies to that payment.
