Why a spreadsheet stops being enough
Invoices in one sheet, bills in another, GST worked out by hand and journals nobody can reconstruct — that is how growing Indian companies lose an audit trail. A proper set of books needs double-entry journals, a chart of accounts, and entries that can't be quietly back-dated.
What WorkRight's accounting module does
- Invoices, bills, payments & receipts against contacts and items.
- Chart of accounts & journal entries with double-entry journal lines.
- GST & TDS on transactions, flowing through to the ledger.
- MSME-overdue tracking so you can see receivables past the statutory window.
Write-once books, by design
Journal entries, journal lines, period locks and audit events are intentionally immutable — there is no edit-after-the-fact path — in line with Companies Act 2013 §128(1). Locking a period prevents back-dated changes, so your books stay defensible from one financial year to the next.
Connected to payroll and expenses
Approved expense reimbursements and locked payroll runs post to the ledger automatically, so finance isn't re-entering numbers from another system. Pricing is in INR by employee count — see the full pricing.
